Update "Samarcanda"

"Si no sabes amar ¿para qué te sirve que el sol salga y se ponga?"
Omar Jayyam en Samarcanda de Amin Maalouf

Mini challaege

What are the 5 books you are looking forward to in the next few months or really into next year.

1) Leon the african by Amin Maalouf. I'm reading Samarcanda from the same autor and it's just amazing, I'm by the middle of the book and I'm sure that is going to be one of the books in my list of favorite.
2) The museum of innocence by Orhan Pamuk Love this author and I satrted this novel (autoghraphed by Pamuk!) but I just can't finish it because it's too sad! never in my life a book created such a strong hurricane of emotions. I have to finish it even if I have to dry myself crying.
3) milan kundera the unbearable lightness of being YES, I have't read it yet (is that enough to justify it)
 4) The Flood by Le Clezio Is waiting in my shelve for a year I feel bad and negligent, some one have to read it !
5)Madame Bovary (for this book to be still in this list is enough)

READATHON!

Readathon!
1)Where are you reading from today? Guadalajara, Jalisco, Méxcio

2)Three random facts about me…
I’m working in the blockbuster in front of my house (yes we still have blockbusters ) So I’ll stop for 2 hours the readathon until our inventory is done grrrrr….
I like the sound of scissors when they cut your hair
Yesterday a little frog entered in my house and jumped in the book infront of me, that was a signal for me to jump in this readathon!
3)How many books do you have in your TBR pile for the next 24 hours?
I got 6 but let’s see if I can go for the 7th or even 10, who knows!

4)Do you have any goals for the read-a-thon (i.e. number of books, number of pages, number of hours, or number of comments on blogs)?
Just having fun and proving to myself how much hours can I go through

5)If you’re a veteran read-a-thoner, any advice for people doing this for the first time?
It’s my first time, and I discovered readathon yesterday at 22:30 pm so I’m not the most prepared reader but I’m really excited.
